Billing attaches to the Team, not to an Environment or a Variant. Every Environment under a Team draws on the same subscription.

The plans

Billing is in Australian dollars.
Free has no production Environment. It is sized for integrating and demonstrating internally — one sandbox and ten brands per Theme — which is deliberately short of a real reseller programme. Shipping to customers means Pro.
Enterprise is not self-serve. Livry staff set it, and per-Team limit overrides can be applied on top of any plan as a contractual term.

How limits are enforced

Two operations check an allowance before they act: Environment limits are counted per kind, so a Pro Team that has used its one production Environment can still create staging.
A 402 is terminal for that request. Retrying will not help — upgrade, or delete something. Treat it as “upgrade required” in your own tooling rather than queueing a retry.
Enforcement counts, then creates. Two creates arriving at the same instant can leave a Team one over its allowance. That is accepted behaviour rather than a bug.
Nothing is deleted or disabled when you exceed an allowance — only new creates are refused.

Changing plan

There is no in-app upgrade today. No checkout flow, and no customer-portal link in the portal.A plan change is made in the billing provider’s dashboard, or set by Livry staff. When a subscription lapses

Livry follows the billing provider’s own state rather than running a second clock beside it: Falling back to Free does not delete anything. Your existing Environments, Themes and Variants keep working and keep serving; you simply cannot create more.
A staff-applied limit override survives a lapse. An override is a contractual term somebody typed for your Team, and a failed card should not silently undo it.

Who can see billing

The Billing Team role, and Team Admins and Owners. Billing exists as a role of its own so you can give your finance team an invoice without giving them your customers’ brands — it carries no Environment grants at all. See Roles.

What is not metered

Serving volume is not metered or billed today. The pricing axes are Variants, Environments and Themes. That may change as the product matures; it will not change retroactively for an existing subscription without notice.
